The Portsiders began as a song repository for Alex Malloy, after leaving Seattle folk group St Paul de Vence. But with the return of his Golden Robot Army bandmates Andrew Clawson and Lucas Gonczy, things took a turn for the beautiful. They discovered honest, unassuming folk music with a simple, direct approach. After the pandemic changed the face of the music industry, the Portsiders took some time to reconnect with their lives, and are waiting to see what comes in this new world.

" you won’t find a lot of frills on the latest release from The Portsiders but then again, they don’t need them. With a completely stripped down but energetic americana meets folk-punk sound and catchy lyrics, there’s not really any reason to go any further and muddy up the waters." -Nortwest Music Scene
